ARRCADE FUSION 2009

Headquarters Allied Rapid Reaction Corps recently completed its annual capstone exercise, ARRCADE FUSION, at Sennelager Training Centre Germany 2 though 13 November, at which the headquarters trained at the Land Component level operating as an in-theatre command similar to HQ ISAF in Afghanistan. NATO soldier kayaks 500km for charity

HQ ARRC, MONCHENGLADBACH, Germany (November 19, 2009)— A British Army officer from Headquarters Allied Rapid Reaction Corps and a retired British Royal Marine conducted an unsupported 500 km canoe expedition from NIJMEGEN, Holland to the Tower of London between October 15 to 25 in order to raise awareness and money for the charity Help for Heroes .. more

Spanish National Day

The Spanish contingent of the Headquarters Allied Rapid Reaction Corps hosted their annual national day celebration at the Reaction Forces Officers' Mess on Joint Headquarters Rheindahlen, Friday 9 October.The celebration included a welcome speech by Lt. Col. Jose Jarne, the Spanish Deputy Senior National Representative, that was a humorous comparison between Christopher Columbus's expedition, which the national day commemorates, and the staff divisions of HQ ARRC. .. more

EXERCISE ARRCADE PLANNER 2009

Ex ARRCADE PLANNER 2009 took place during the week Monday 31 Aug to Thursday 03 Sep 2009 and began inConference Room 1 of HQ ARRC before moving to various stands throughout North Eastern Germany. EX ARRCADE PLANNER 09 is the annual Operational Planning Group (OPG) development exercise and whilst designed to complement Ex ARRCADE INDUCTION, it is primarily designed to introduce new members of the Headquarters and invited Sub Fmns to the various planning processes and tools and to ensure that OPG members are able to bond together making for a more cohesive planning machine.. more
