Civil-military Cooperation or CIMIC is a military term for the relationship of interaction, co-operation and coordination, mutual support, joint planning and constant exchange of information at all levels between military forces, civilian organizations, agencies and in-theatre civil influences, which are necessary to achieve an effective response in the full range of military operations.
