HQ ARRC is providing 250 officers and soldiers to augment the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) Headquarters (HQ) and the ISAF Joint Command(IJC) in Kabul throughout 2011. This includes the Commander assuming the role of DCOM ISAF and the Chief of Staff assuming the role of COS IJC. In preparation for this the HQ and supporting elements have undertaken an intensive training programme during 2010 that culminated in a Mission Rehearsal Exercise undertaken at the NATO Joint Warfare Centre in Norway.
