By the time you read this, Headquarters Allied Rapid Reaction Corps (HQ ARRC) will be in the process of finishing its tour in
Afghanistan and the first people will be on their way back to Innsworth. Some of our people will have spent a full year away from home and for the others, like me, it will be the end of (only) 6 months away.

I appreciate this is an extremely emotive subject but it is one I believe would benefit from greater understanding of what we do.

Afghanistan augmenting the ISAF Joint Command Headquarters. Time has flown and many of us are contemplating going home at the end of our six month tour of duty. Spare a thought for those of us, and nearly all of our American friends, that will be here for a year. |
