On Fri 25 June 2010, Maj Gen Nick Carter, current Commander of Regional Command (South) provided a presentation on current developments, operations and challenges within Helmand province and conducted a question and answer session for the education of all HQ ARRC personnel.

"Despite the fact that we are currently moving the headquarters to Innsworth, Gloucester in the UK, it is imperative that we take the opportunities presented to listen and learn from the present commanders and leaders in Afghanistan and keep abreast of recent developments and initiatives. Our own staff updates and the excellent presentations maintain our currency and enhance our understanding of operations on which we will embark in the near future." commented Brigadier Paddy Allison, Chief of ARRC Trg and Security Force Assistance Branch.
