NATO Language Training Brings New Personal and Professional Skills

The successful partnership of NATO HQ Sarajevo and the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina is giving important new language skills to soldiers that will affect their personal and professional lives. The English language training program was started in December, 2008 at the direction of the Minister of Defence.

Farewell Visit by Lt. General Pearson

24th September 2009, – On 17th October Exercise Combined Endeavour, sponsored by the United States Army European Command, came to a highly successful conclusion at Kozara Barracks in Banja Luka. The largest theatre security co-operation communications exercise in the United States Army European Command had been hosted by the Armed Forces and the Ministry of Defence of Bosnia Herzegovina.

Admiral Stavridis Promotes NATO Sarajevo Deputy Commander

Banja Luka - 17th September - At a special ceremony held at Banja Luka on Thursday 17th September the Deputy Commander of NATO HQ Sarajevo, Colonel John Bullard Jr. (United States Marine Corps) was promoted to Brigadier General by Admiral James G. Stavridis, the Supreme Allied Commander, Europe.

Bosnia Herzegovina - 17th September - Exercise Combined Endeavour is the largest theatre security co-operation communications exercise in the United States European Command (EUCOM). It is held in the spirit of Partnership for Peace. In 2009 Kozara Barracks in Banja Luka, Bosnia Herzegovina was a host site for the exercise.

Staff Changes at NATO HQ Sarajevo

Bosnia and Herzegovina - NATO HQ Sarajevo has recently said goodbye to Deputy Commander Colonel Tom Nesse and his Executive Officer Lieutenant Colonel Frode Samuelson of the Royal Norwegian Air Force. Colonel Nesse and Lt. Col. Samuelson joined this HQ in November, 2007.

Children's Festival – Investing In The Future
