NHQSa support to BIH MOD workshops

NHQSa sponsored and provided legal support to two workshops held during the week of 17 to 21 December in Teslić. During the first workshop that was successfully completed on 19 December, representatives from the BiH Ministry of Defence, Intelligence Security Agency of BiH (OSA BiH) and NHQSa drafted  the Agreement on cooperation between the Military and Civilian Intelligence structures in BiH.

‘’On 11 December 2012 the Mr. Geir Aynar Myrseth, BiH accredited Defense Councilor of the Kingdom of Norway and Deputy Commander of NATO Headquarter Sarajevo, Royal Norwegian Air Force Colonel Harald Hiorth officially donated substantial work and safety equipment  to the personnel of the AFBiH Ammunition, Explosive and Mines Demilitarization Workshop  in Doboj.

BiH MoD Defence Planning and Budget Planning

NHQSa continuously supports BiH MoD in building the Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution System (PPBES).  In coordination with the MoD Sectors for Policy and Plans and for Finance and Budgeting, NHQSa financed a 4-day workshop from 20th to 23rd November in Fojnica.

Expert Forum on prospective immovable defence property

In April 2010 NATO’s highest body, the North Atlantic Council, invited BiH to join the NATO Membership Action Plan, a programme that will take BiH closer to NATO membership. However, the actual activation of the MAP can only take place once Bosnia and Herzegovina satisfies one condition: that the locations deemed prospective for defence purposes are registered in the ownership of the state of BiH for use by the Ministry of Defence

NATO Science for Peace and Security Program

NATO Science for Peace and Security Program will fund a one week Environmental Protection (EP) /Environmental Management Systems (EMS) Course in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), which will take place in Sarajevo, from 10th to 14th September 2012 in Peace Support Operations Training Center.

NATO donates vehicles to AF BiH

Donation of forklifts to AFBiH Ammunition Storage Sites

NATO Headquarters Sarajevo, under the auspices of the Ambassador of Switzerland, officially handed over 50 Swiss electro-hydraulic forklifts to the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the permanent use in the AFBiH Ammunition Storage Sites July 13, 2012.
