JFC Naples Tree Lighting Ceremony

Naples, Italy - Adm. Samuel Locklear, Commander Allied Joint Force Command Naples, gets a little help from a very special guest at the annual holiday tree lighting ceremony. Prior to the ceremony, Locklear and his wife Pam gave gifts to the children of the Centro Laila Foster Home. Meeting with the staff and children of this home has also become an established annual event with the staff of the Commander's Office working hard to collect presents, provide food and decorate the tree in front of the headquarters building. Of course Father Christmas was there to help distribute the gifts and good cheer. This year even the threat of foul weather and a brief, but cruel, visit by the Grinch could not dampen spirits for hundreds of gatherers. Onlookers for this special event were amazed and delighted by the special holiday musical arrangements of the Allied Forces European Band and angelic-like choirs comprised of pupils from the International, Montessori and Hellenic Schools of Naples.
