NATO Training Mission–Iraq Announces the End-of-Training-Mission Closing Ceremony

Baghdad, Iraq – The NATO Training Mission-Iraq (NTM-I) announces that it will conduct an End of Training Mission Closure Ceremony on Saturday, 17 December 2011, at 3:30 PM. The ceremony will be conducted at the Babylon Conference Center on FOB Union III in the International Zone. The ceremony will recognize the progress made by NTM-I and the Iraqi Security Forces over the course of their seven-year training partnership.

Media wishing to attend the ceremony should telephone the NTM-I Public Affairs Officer at the number listed above, or send an email to Lieutenant Colonel Hanson at thomas.hanson@iraq.centcom.mil. Media who attend the ceremony must arrive at the Entry Control Point #2 for Union III on al-Kindi Street not later than 2:30 PM on Saturday, in order to pass through security inspections. Please bring your jensiya or passport for identification purposes.
