2/Dec/2010 Baghdad, Dec. 1, 2010 - Admiral Samuel J. Locklear, III traveled to Iraq on his first visit as Commander Allied Joint Force Command Naples this week to reaffirm NATO's commitment to the mission at the request of the Government of Iraq and to recognize our contributing nations for their efforts. While there he recognized dozens of NATO troops for their service and sacrifice to the NATO training mission.

30/Nov/2010 BAGHDAD – LTG Michael Barbero, NATO Training Mission – Iraq Commander, announced Nov. 23 that the three National Operations Centers in Baghdad: the Prime Minister's National Operations Centre (PM NOC); the Ministry of Interior National Command Centre (MoI NCC); and the Ministry of Defence Joint Operations Centre (MoD JOC) have all achieved the Self Sustaining Capability (SSC).

Ar RUSTAMIYAH, IRAQ – Thirty Iraqi instructors graduated from the six-week trainer (T3) course led by NATO Training Mission – Iraq at the Iraqi Military Academy in Rustamiyah (IMAR) Nov. 4.
The graduation and award ceremony was attended by Lt. Col. Nouri, IMAR deputy commander, and Lt. Col. Jay Turner, IMAR chief mentor.
