U.S. Congress Delegation visits Camp Dublin

BAGHDAD, Iraq – A U.S. Congressional Delegation, led by Rep. Joe Wilson, met with NATO Training Mission-Iraq Deputy Commander, Italian Army Maj. Gen. Claudio Angelelli; and the Gendarmerie Training Division Commander, Italian Carabinieri Col. Fausto Vignola during the delegation's visit to Camp Dublin here Feb. 22.



NTM-I DCOM visits Umm Qasr Naval Base

Second Oil Police Course Graduates

BAGHDAD, Iraq – NATO Training Mission-Iraq (NTM-I) conducted a graduation ceremony for 136 Iraqi policemen who completed the second Oil Police training course at Camp Dublin Feb. 10.  Distinguished guests in attendance included the NTM-I Deputy Commander, Italian Army Maj. Gen. Claudio Angelelli.

First NATO-Iraq Joint Committee discusses future of Iraqi training

BAGHDAD, Iraq – The first meeting of the Joint Committee for Future Training was conducted at the Babylon Conference Centre here February 6. The meeting between key leaders of NATO Training Mission-Iraq, the Iraqi Ministry of Defence, and Ministry of Interior, served as a mechanism to recommend and agree on future training considerations for Iraqi Security Forces.

NTM-I Commander conducts first visit with Italian Carabinieri

BAGHDAD, Iraq – On Feb. 5, U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Michael Ferriter, NATO Training Mission-Iraq commander, and Italian Army Maj. Gen. Claudio Angelelli, NTM-I deputy commander, visited Camp Dublin, which serves as the headquarters for the Gendarmerie Training Unit of the Italian Carabinieri. The visit marked the first trip to Dublin for Ferriter since took command of NTM-I in January.

1st Iraqi Oil Police Train the Trainers Course Graduate

The 1st Train the Trainers (T3) Course for the Iraqi Oil Police held a closing ceremony at the Forward Operating Base (FOB) Camp Dublin, Baghdad, Iraq February 03. The T3 course was conducted by the Italian Carabinieri of the NTM-I Gendarmerie Training Unit on a training program lasting one month and started January 2.
